They are the heart of livestock farming. A sector that has evolved rapidly in the last decades. Innovation has brought our industry forward and enabled us to work smarter and more efficient. In the midst of all this progress our livestock is facing challenges. Challenges that cannot always be prevented. As they are simply part of every animal’s life. But how our animals are able to cope with these challenges – that is where we can make the difference.
We, the people of Sana Novum, have been at many farms. We have seen that the natural balance of our animals, that is controlled in the gut, has often become disturbed. The gut cannot maintain eubiosis*. The guts vital function as an inner engine is weakened. It is no longer able to produce the vital components that help the animal overcome challenges. Animal resilience is pressurized. At Sana Novum we believe it is time to do things differently, it is time to start sustaining animal resilience.
The gut is out starting point in sustaining animal resilience. It is there that we want to have an impact. You could consider the gut as a second brain – as it can influence the microbial ecosystem. By focusing on animal resilience we want to help livestock become more robust. A resilient animal has the strength to withstand or bounce back from the different challenges that it encounters.
*Eubiosis is characterized as a a healthy balanced gut marked by a high diversity and abundance of microbial populations.
Bringing the power of nature back to the farm
By using the power of nature we chose a different path. A path that we believe is the future in animal husbandry. All the more in this ever changing world. By bringing the power of nature back to the farm we are able to boost the inner engine of our animals. The engine that is located in the gut.
Together with a small group of specialists we have decided to do things differently. Simply because we have seen that doing things differently works. We wondered: “Nature has always found a way to adapt to the everchanging world. What if nature also holds the solution to support animal resilience?”. Sending all our animals back into nature is not an option. But we can bring the strength of nature back to the farm. That is the core of our solution.
Sana Novum knows what livestock needs to become resilient. Our team members hold many years of practical experience in livestock farming. With our novel view on animal health and resilience we have decided to research the power of nature. Now, after three years of scientific research, and with the first practical results coming in, we are ready to take you with us on this journey.

EUBIOX is a product range developed by Sana Novum. It is a (patho)physiological stabilizer based on a special blend of natural substances. All substances have a proven mode of action in maintaining eubiosis in animals.
